Consumer Reports lists Health Website that Works

Medline PlusI picked up the March 2009 issue of Consumer Reports, and read an article about websites that work. More importantly, a health website that works.

On the National Library of Medicine’s Web site ( you’ll find information about diseases and a searchable registry of tens of thousands of clinical trials.  Those of you facing an operation or just intrigued by the operating room can watch hundreds of videotaped surgeries as varied as deep brain stimulation and foot-tendon repair.

Sounds pretty intriguing,  but I don’t think I could even handle it.  That’s probably why I’m no doctor or anything related to it.
